SMALL HABITS, BIG CHANGES
Personally, I wouldn't be the person I am today without these habits embedded in my daily life. Taking the time to identify what truly supports me – whether it's a few minutes of meditation , a little movement or a simple calming break – is essential to structuring my days in a positive and balanced way.
We often underestimate the impact small habits have on our overall well-being. Yet it's these daily rituals, even the most subtle ones, that shape our state of mind and energy over time.
Finding what truly nourishes us.
It's essential to focus on what deeply nourishes us. Whether it's a few moments of meditation in the morning or a walk at the end of the day, the goal is to choose practices that are realistic and sustainable. Too often, we set unattainable goals, and when faced with setbacks, motivation evaporates. When I lack motivation, I turn to my small habits, the ones that help me move smoothly through my days. These small actions, even if they only last five minutes, can lead to big changes as long as they're accessible and adapted to my pace. I take small steps, exploring what works for me with flexibility and kindness.
Start the day with intention.
Each habit should fit naturally into my schedule, without ever becoming a burden. For example, starting the day by connecting with myself before diving into external obligations makes a huge difference. Rather than immediately checking my phone upon waking, I take a moment to internally express three things I'm grateful for . This moment of gratitude grounds me in positive energy and prepares me to approach the day with a peaceful state of mind.
Find inspiration with small rituals that recharge us:
Approaching food with awareness.
Even my food, I choose to approach with more awareness. It's not just what I eat, but how I eat it. Eating quickly in front of a screen can be detrimental to my digestion and mood. Taking the time to sit comfortably, away from all distractions, to savor each bite is a seemingly insignificant gesture, but it anchors a sense of well-being.
End the day with calming rituals.
Just as the day begins with positive habits, it also ends with Soothing rituals . Reducing screen time before bed, reading a few pages of a book, or enjoying a cup of herbal tea are small gestures that help me disconnect and welcome the night with serenity. Choosing activities that allow me to relax, away from daily stress, becomes a way to end the day gently.
Cultivate overall well-being.
Well-being goes far beyond the physical. It lies in the quality of what we allow into our minds: the information we consume, the relationships we maintain, and even the way we speak to ourselves. Every small habit I cultivate directly influences my state of mind and my energy.
